- Log Barging: Brusco provides ocean
going log barges with 4600 series Manitowac cranes for self-loading
and unloading. Brusco's specially
designed Mac Grapples help to eliminate log breakage when loading
and unloading. The barges are equipped with log bronc's to handle
bundled logs in the water when water loading or unloading is required.
Our experienced personnel load and unload cargos of 6300 to 8600
tons and transport them from Alaska, Canada, and along the West Coast
as far south as Eureka, California.
- Chip Barging: Brusco operates bin barges
from 3000 to 5500 tons for the transportation of wood chips, sawdust
or hog fuel. This service is provided to pulp and paper mills in
Canada and on the West Coast. Brusco barges are equipped with stern
doors and can be unloaded with a wheel loader or using a bucket
